Hi! I’m Lacey

I'm a portrait, event, and landscape photographer based in the Washington, D.C. metro area. My photography journey began while earning my Studio Art degree, where I learned to see light, shadows, and composition through a film camera. In the darkroom, before the days of Photoshop, I developed an appreciation for the craft of editing and processing by hand.

After my daughter was born, I rediscovered my passion and purchased my first mirrorless camera. Being a mom has taught me to anticipate moments before they happen and to act fast to get the shot. I love exploring new techniques, experimenting with different genres, and dreaming about the next piece of gear to add to my collection. Whether it’s a travel adventure or a quiet moment in nature, I’m always chasing light and the next scenic spot that sparks inspiration.

As a seasoned designer, I bring a sharp eye for detail and composition to every frame. My style is candid, heartfelt, and true to life, never overly posed. I aim to capture love and connection in a way that feels authentic and timeless.

Originally from Louisiana (Geaux Tigers!), I’ve called Arlington, VA home for the past 20 years. When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll find me adventuring with my husband and daughter, hiking with our lovable Boxer, and enjoying the beauty of the outdoors.
